Operator Technician (Sterility & Cleaning Processes)

GreenOnyx is An innovative Ag-tech/Food-tech startup specializing in the indoor sterile growth of the Wolffia vegetable is seeking a hands-on Operator Technician. This is a physically demanding operational role that requires active involvement in the setup, operation, and maintenance of cultivation systems in a strictly sterile environment. The position involves meticulous monitoring of growth parameters, adherence to strict sterility protocols, and precise execution of cultivation tasks to ensure optimal yield and product quality.

Location: Tel Aviv area | Full-time | On-site

What you'll do:

• Execute and maintain sterile cultivation protocols throughout the Wolffia growth cycle.
• Support daily operations of our indoor cultivation systems
• Help monitor plant growth and environmental conditions
• Follow protocols to maintain cleanliness and avoid contamination
• Perform harvesting and basic quality checks
• Operate automated systems (with full training)
• Accurately record routine data

• Strong hands-on skills and ability to perform physical/manual tasks
• Basic technical aptitude – ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment
• Motivation to learn and grow in a tech-driven environment
• Team player with basic computer skills
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle materials
• Experience in lab work, cultivation, or food production – a plus, but not a must
