Assistant Controller

A leading financial organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join its Finance Division. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a complex and regulated environment, working closely with senior finance leaders on key reporting and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Participate in regulatory reporting 

Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors

Analyze financial data and variances to support management decisions

Support the preparation of tax filings, compliance, and statutory reports

Requirements:

2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Controller in a financial institution (bank, insurance, or similar) – mandatory

CPA certification

Proficiency in IFRS, financial reporting, and regulatory environments

Strong Excel skills 

High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team
