Job description:

As a Senior Data Scientist at Evolution, you will take a key role in developing advanced AI solutions and contributing directly to the growth of our AI-for-AI platform, Earth. You’ll work on real-world, high-impact challenges across diverse domains, both strategically and in hands-on implementation. You’ll collaborate with a team of brilliant and experienced data scientists, and work closely with product, engineering, and business teams throughout the full AI development lifecycle. This position will require undergoing a security clearance process.

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and deliver advanced AI solutions across multiple domains.
• Manage full project lifecycles: ideation → development → deployment → monitoring → back to ideation.
• Contribute to the development of Earth, both as a power user and active contributor to the platform itself.
• Research and implement novel algorithms and modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align on goals and KPIs.
• Work with engineering to integrate models into robust production environments.
• Help shape MLOps/DevOps pipelines and development workflows.
• Engage with clients: from translating business needs to providing support.
• Bring ideas and insights into R&D discussions and influence the product roadmap.

Mandatory requirements:

• MSc or PhD in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning roles.
• Proven experience managing AI/ML project lifecycles, including delivery to clients or production.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with deep understanding of classic ML, deep learning, and LLMs.
• Experience with tools such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, SQL, Docker, and Linux environments.
• Passion for innovation and curiosity to explore unfamiliar technologies.
• A true team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, methods, and frameworks.

Advantage:

• PhD in Computer Science with a focus on AI or Data Science.
• Native-level English or strong command of written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated strength in technical writing and documentation.

Job location:

Our office is located in the Bursa district of Ramat-Gan, right next to Israel Railways and the Light Rail. This is a primarily on-site role, with most work done from the office.
