Technical Support Specialist – Global Company in Haifa

Location: Haifa (approximately 13-minute walk from the train station)

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site

Job Description:

• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and issues with end-user hardware and software, including repairs, consulting, and assisting authorized users
• Basic troubleshooting of computer hardware, including system imaging and resolving issues in Windows XP/7/10 operating systems
• Troubleshooting Microsoft Office and Outlook issues, including basic networking knowledge
• Physical support for servers (Server Touch Support)
• Basic troubleshooting for video conferencing systems, projectors, and printers
• Providing support for application certification and software deployment to workstations
• Coordinating with external vendors as needed to maintain the functionality of equipment and software
• Supporting computer equipment – additions, changes, updates, and relocation of laptops and desktops
• Managing hardware and software repair services for laptops and desktops, including experience with PC Lifecycle and IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose)
• Managing inventory of new and used equipment – including asset tagging, scanning, and updating the asset database (CMDB)
• Setting up new or reused computers – domain joining, data transfer, user profile creation, printer installation, network/wireless configuration, software installation, patch updates, post-installation testing, and user training

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in hardware and software deployment
• Experience in troubleshooting and installing end-user equipment: laptops/desktops/tablets/Office 365/hardware/COTS software/mobile applications
• Experience troubleshooting application-level issues (enterprise software support)
• Experience resolving VPN and collaboration/communication tool issues
• Experience with password reset tools and remote control tools
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, with emphasis on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Office 2013
• Experience working with ServiceNow (SNOW)
• Fluent English
• Familiarity with Service Management and ITIL processes
