We are currently recruiting for a Sustaining Hardware Engineer at our Israel office.

The Sustaining Hardware Engineer will support existing product lines using Laser, RF, High Voltage, Power electronics, and GUI-based systems. The role involves identifying and implementing design improvements, component updates, production issue resolutions, and ensuring ongoing compliance with medical regulatory standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485).

The ideal candidate will have B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and 3-5 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a sustaining or support role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for released products in production and field use.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for hardware-related field failures, quality issues, or non-conformances.
• Maintain and update schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation in compliance with design control procedures.
• Implement and qualify component replacements due to EOL, obsolescence, or supply chain challenges.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA for hardware-related issues.
• Collaborate with QA/RA to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance (IEC 60601, ISO 14971).
• Support V&V activities for design changes and document results for internal and regulatory use.
• Interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve production problems.
• Contribute to risk analysis updates and change control documentation.

Your Skills & Experience – Do You Have What it Takes?

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a sustaining or support role.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage, RF, laser systems, power supplies, and GUI hardware.
• Understanding of medical device standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
• Skilled in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
• Familiarity with EMC compliance, product safety, and environmental testing.
• Proficient in MS Office, document control systems, and basic CAD or PLM tools.
