Marcom Manager (defense sector)

A successful defense startup is seeking an experienced **Marcom Manager** for a challenging and impactful role!

Position Overview:

This role includes leading and executing the company's marketing strategy with a strong focus on defense and military markets. Responsibilities include brand building, lead generation, website and social media management, content creation, organizing exhibitions and live demonstrations, managing marketing campaigns, and close collaboration with Sales, Business Development, and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s global marketing strategy
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities
• Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources in alignment with business goals
• Lead digital and offline marketing campaigns (conferences, defense exhibitions, social media, marketing content)
• Write and edit marketing content including brochures, presentations, articles, and press releases
• Generate high-quality leads for Sales and Business Development teams
• Work closely with internal departments (Sales, BD, R&D) to tailor marketing messages to the company's products and technologies
• Track marketing performance, measure effectiveness, and adjust strategy as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• 5+ years of experience in marketing management, preferably in the defense industry
• Proven experience managing global marketing campaigns, including participation in international exhibitions and conferences
• Native-level English – required (additional languages are an advantage)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong content creation and writing skills
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple interfaces
