Our services span Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Incident Response (IR), and Red Teaming, supported by a global force of technical experts. We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Operations Specialist to support our rapid growth by aligning campaign execution with real-time threat activity, technical innovation, and our unique brand identity.
Role Summary
This role is ideal for an operational marketer with a strong cybersecurity background and a results-oriented mindset. You will drive the implementation of integrated marketing initiatives—across outbound content campaigns, inbound activation, brand amplification, and event promotion—working directly with technical leaders and executive stakeholders.
The successful candidate will act as the operational hub for Security Joes’ marketing efforts, translating technical insights into campaigns, managing distribution and lead flow, and supporting the company’s overall growth, thought leadership, and employer branding goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Enablement: Collaborate with technical teams (MDR, IR, Red Team) and the Head of Services to plan monthly marketing agendas, utilizing internal content (e.g., blogs, open-source tools, incident snapshots) to craft campaign narratives.
- Content Distribution: Publish content across digital channels using tools such as Buffer and LinkedIn. Tailor messaging to match ongoing threat trends and audience segments.
- Lead Engagement: Manage inbound lead workflows using HubSpot, ensure accurate tagging and attribution, and align with business development for follow-up strategies.
- Events & Media: Support the marketing execution of internal company events, industry conferences, and online engagements such as webinars or podcast appearances.
- Brand Stewardship: Reinforce Security Joes’ positioning across all external communications, ensuring consistency with brand tone, visual identity, and employer branding efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across departments to streamline marketing deliverables, maintain campaign calendars, and optimize coordination between content creators, executives, and designers.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign results, engagement metrics, and funnel health to provide actionable insights and iterate on marketing performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity marketing, preferably within a company offering MDR, IR, or adjacent services.
- Proven ability to translate technical insights into compelling content and campaigns.
- Proficiency with marketing platforms including HubSpot, Buffer, LinkedIn, and web analytics tools.
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and the B2B marketing landscape.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to real-world cyber incident response, threat intelligence, or security research teams.
- Experience organizing or promoting technical webinars, podcasts, or conference speaking engagements.
- Familiarity with visual and creative tools such as Canva or Figma.
- Previous involvement in internal communications or employer brand campaigns.
