Software Engineer

A bootstrap startup in the Data Collection domain has developed an API that enables access to public data from social networks. The company analyzes online content to detect imposters, fraud, pedophilia, terrorist organizations, and more. Their product is utilized in security operations, including wartime initiatives such as identifying false information on LinkedIn and detecting terrorist content.

Founded 18 months ago, the company has doubled in size over the last six months, currently serving over 80 paying customers, including clients in the cyber intelligence sector.

Annual recurring revenue exceeds $3M. The company is based in Tel Aviv near the light rail, employs 26 staff members, and operates a hybrid work model with two remote days weekly.

The position involves:

• Working as part of a 5-developer team, reporting to the VP
• Backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
• Designing and architecting scalable backend systems
• Conducting product and web data research
• Handling production environments at high scale with hundreds of millions of requests per month
• Collaborating with enterprise clients
• Technology stack: Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, ECS, SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Prometheus

Requirements-

• Extensive experience (senior level) in software development, specifically in the field of reverse engineering and the data collection landscape.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, SQL, AWS, Docker, and data structures.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale apps in production is a must.
• A demonstrated ability to design, architect, write and test back-end solutions independently from scratch.
• Prior experience with Frida, Go/Rust, HTTP3 (Quic), Proxy servers, Terraform (or other IaC) is a plus.
