iOS QA Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled iOS QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of a complex, user-facing mobile application. You’ll play a key role in delivering seamless and high-performance experiences across the iOS ecosystem, working closely with developers, designers, and product managers.

What you’ll do:

• Own the QA process for the entire iOS stack, including SwiftUI applications, app extensions, widgets, and system integrations like Live Activities and CallKit.
• Review product specifications and technical designs, identifying edge cases and improving testability early in the development process.
• Develop detailed test plans and exploratory test charters that cover a wide range of devices, OS versions, and usage scenarios.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, usability, accessibility, and network condition testing.
• Log, reproduce, and document issues clearly in Jira, using video, logs, and accurate reproduction steps.
• Conduct full regression testing on release candidates and validate fixes via TestFlight builds.
• Monitor production environments using tools such as Crashlytics, Firebase, and analytics platforms; collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Promote QA best practices and contribute to team-wide process improvements and quality standards.

What you bring:

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile QA with a focus on iOS.
• Experience testing end-user iOS applications, including edge cases and system behaviors.

Nice to have (bonus points for):

• Familiarity with CallKit, VoIP, Contacts, or system-level integrations.
• Experience in analyzing app performance, battery usage, and memory management.
• Ability to write or understand Swift code and/or Bash scripts for automation and internal tooling.
• Background in testing apps at scale or supporting applications with high user engagement.
