Director of Finance

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to oversee all financial operations and help guide the company through its next stage of growth. This role involves ownership of financial planning, analysis, reporting, compliance, and operational finance, working closely with the executive team to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements
• Manage audits, tax filings, and all external financial relationships
• Design and implement efficient financial systems, controls, and processes
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and cost controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and optimize resource allocation
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team
• Support fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting, as needed

Requirements:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with financial systems and process automation
