Junior Quality Assurance Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in quality assurance, working closely with development teams to ensure the highest software quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure automated tests using 3rd-party platforms, ensuring coverage of all platform functionalities.
• Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality and reliability
• Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found in the application.
• Review product requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and testability.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand changes and update test plans accordingly.
• Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and improvements.
• Assist in improving QA processes and methodologies.
• Learn and contribute to internal test automation tools over time.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a QA course from a recognized institution (such as John Bryce, HackerU, etc.)
• 2 years of experience as a manual QA tester.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Linux and AWS (advantageous).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to document test results clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or coursework in software testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or scripting (Advantage).
• Familiarity with SaaS applications.
