System Administrator

Description

monday.com is looking for an open-minded, service-orientated, hardworking professional, passionate & experienced System Administrator to join our Global IT team, Supporting 2500+ internal users, Business applications, internal systems, and ever-changing business needs in a challenging tech environment. You will significantly impact the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring the integrity of and access to our most important company resources.

About The Role

• Take ownership of monday.com’s core IT infrastructure—on-prem and cloud—including networking, firewalls, backups, endpoint management, and security solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN and cloud-based network architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Lead and execute infrastructure projects end-to-end, from initial planning and design to full deployment and post-rollout support.
• Proactively manage and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and system health, ensuring continuity of critical IT services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 issues, including deep technical challenges related to networking, cloud infrastructure, and system performance.
• Continuously assess and optimize infrastructure performance, implementing improvements through automation, monitoring, and configuration management.
  
  

• Must have: Hands-on experience managing enterprise network devices (switches, routers, access points).
• Must have: Proven experience managing firewalls and security appliances, with an advantage in Palo Alto.
• Must have: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must have: Experience managing and securing Windows and Linux servers.
• Must have: Proficiency in managing SaaS environments (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, Slack).
• Must have: Experience with device management systems like Jamf and Intune.
• Must: Experience with infrastructure and SaaS monitoring platforms.
• Plus: Experience managing backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Plus: Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
• Experience leading or participating in large-scale, cross-functional IT projects is a strong plus.
