IT & Security Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Infosec and IT manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related activities within the company while also taking on the responsibilities of a CISO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT administration and cybersecurity, and will act as both a protector of our internal systems. In addition, as a company working with MSPs (IT providers) as clients, we are looking for someone who can be a key contributor to the development and refinement of our cybersecurity platform. You will examine our product's features and usability from a user's standpoint, and provide valuable insights to our product and software teams.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and maintenance of all company IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers, as well as administer and manage company domains, email systems, and other IT-related resources
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and security of the company's IT environment
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy to protect company data, production systems, and networks from threats; ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices
• Serve as an internal customer for our cybersecurity platform, providing valuable feedback on new features and product enhancements
• Engage in "dogfooding" by actively using the platform and testing new features before release, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of MSPs
• Collaborate with product development teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving the platform's functionality, usability, and security
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in IT administration and cybersecurity roles; experience in a CISO role or equivalent is preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, and cloud services (GCP, AWS and Azure)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders. Experience in a client facing role is an advantage
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management
