A stable and well-established defense company specializing in the development and production of RF electronic assemblies for military and civilian applications is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for all aspects of product design and mechanical engineering during the development phase and transition to production
Close collaboration with electronics engineers, board designers, and PCB layout engineers

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in designing products that include electronic boards and/or RF circuits
Experience in design for manufacturing using precision machining technologies, including tolerance stack-up calculations and statistical analysis
Knowledge and proficiency in thermal management, statics, and dynamics, including: design to meet requirements, analytical calculations, and oversight of subcontracted analysis
Experience with simulations using SolidWorks Simulation or similar software
In-depth knowledge and experience in designing for harsh environmental conditions
Experience in preparing product documentation and leading the transition from development to production, especially for process-oriented products
