Head of Information Technology

One of our clients, RealSense, an Israeli spin-off of Intel’s pioneering depth-sensing division, helps shape the future of computer vision and AI, by developing advanced 3D imaging technologies that power robotics, biometrics, and spatial computing around the world. RealSense is looking for a skilled and experienced hands-on Head of IT, with strong technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment and play a key role in shaping and scaling the IT infrastructure.

This role is located in Haifa (Matam), Israel.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management in a global organization.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional IT teams, managing vendors, and working with third-party service providers.
• Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and RnD labs.
• Experience in planning, deploying, and maintaining IT systems, network architectures, and security frameworks.
• Background in startups, scale-ups, or manufacturing environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as:
• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• CISSP or CISM (especially for cybersecurity-focused roles

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with enterprise systems, software deployment, troubleshooting, and IT lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with data protection, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to scale IT environments in dynamic and fast-paced organizations.
• Understanding of IT compliance and risk management standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
