Backend Software Engineer - Backend Development Group

Location: Tel-Aviv, Israel, following a hybrid work approach

Meet the Team

We are a group of backend developers responsible for building and maintaining core services that power the platform. We design APIs, work with microservices, collaborate closely with other development teams, and ensure our systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure. As a junior developer, you’ll be an integral part of the team and receive mentorship and support from experienced engineers and team leads.

Your Impact

You will contribute to the team’s development efforts, including:

• Designing and implementing backend services and REST APIs
• Participating in cross-team development efforts and code reviews
• Writing tests and ensuring code quality
• Building scalable services using containerized environments and cloud-native architecture
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field OR relevant experience
• 0–2 years of experience in backend development
• Solid programming skills in at least one language (Python, NodeJS, Go, etc.)
• Basic understanding of backend development principles (e.g., APIs, REST, databases)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Express.js, or similar
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD workflows
• Experience working on personal, academic, or production backend projects
• Fast learner, problem-solver, and enthusiastic team mate
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Eagerness to grow and take ownership in a production development environment
