Our Security Engineering team plays a key role in protecting the organization’s digital perimeter. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Security Engineer will work closely with the Security Architecture team and other cross-functional departments to ensure the implementation and management of robust security controls. This role is essential in delivering operational security across our cloud and on-premises environments.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the Security Architecture team to implement perimeter security measures protecting against unauthorized access and external threats
• Manage firewall and WAF policies as defined by the architecture team to control and filter traffic
• Operate security mechanisms that mitigate DDoS and other attack vectors
• Deploy cloud security guardrails and configurations in AWS, GCP, and Azure environments
• Support implementation of network segmentation and enforce internal security policies
• Manage email security to protect against phishing, spam, and malware
• Implement and maintain mobile security solutions
• Oversee web proxy configurations to monitor and control internet usage
• Operate IDS/IPS systems to monitor network traffic and respond to potential threats
• Deploy and manage endpoint protection tools and EDR/DLP solutions as per standards
• Continuously assess and improve endpoint security, addressing vulnerabilities proactively

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
• Experience working with CI environments (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, IaC, Terraform) or DevSecOps – an advantage
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong background in perimeter, network, endpoint, application, and data security
• Proven incident response and security operations experience
• Familiarity with compliance and industry standards
