We are currently seeking a talented NIR Multivariate Chemometrician with expertise in Design of Experiments (DOE) to enhance our liquid applications capabilities.
The NIR Multivariate Chemometrician will play a pivotal role in advancing our NIR spectroscopy applications, focusing on liquid analysis within the semiconductor sector. This position requires a unique blend of skills in chemometrics, spectroscopy, and experimental design to develop robust, predictive models and optimize our analytical methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine chemometric models for NIR spectroscopy data interpretation, emphasizing liquid applications in the semiconductor industry.
- Design and implement comprehensive DOE strategies to optimize analytical methodologies, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate chemometric models and DOE methodologies into our NIR spectroscopy solutions.
- Validate and assess the performance of chemometric models and experimental designs, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in NIR spectroscopy, chemometrics, and DOE, applying cutting-edge techniques to our processes.
- Provide expert consultation and support to both internal teams and clients, addressing complex challenges in NIR spectroscopy and experimental design.
- Author scientific publications and technical documentation, sharing insights and advancements with the broader scientific community.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, contributing to the strategic direction of our R&D efforts.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Chemistry Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, or a related field, with a specialization in spectroscopy, chemometrics, and experimental design.
- Solid experience in NIR spectroscopy, particularly in developing chemometric models for liquid chemicals analysis.
- Expertise in DOE, with a proven track record of implementing successful experimental designs in a research or industrial context.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry standards and the specific requirements of liquid applications within this field.
- Proficiency in chemometric and statistical software (e.g., SIMCA, Unscrambler, JMP, Design-Expert) and programming languages (Python, R).
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to lead interdisciplinary projects and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for translating scientific research into practical solutions.
