The PMO Professional provides governance over one or more program office areas in the account/program/streams. This role is responsible for program/stream management areas such as planning, providing status reports that enable predictability and transparency, reporting on deviations, monitoring, control, and risk management. The PMO Professional is also responsible for early notifications, raising flags on time, and suggesting mitigations.
What will your job look like?
- Governance Management: Manage governance processes, coordinate with various units, oversee timelines, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee operational activities, including those related to the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Project & Program Planning:Build and maintain work plans for major projects and milestones. Ensure deliverables are clearly defined, assigned, and aligned with program goals. Manage joint tasks and follow up on execution.
- Operational & Budget Tracking: Manage budget allocation and resource planning in collaboration with PMO and finance teams. Track KPIs and implement data-driven processes to support decision-making.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Provide regular status reports, identify trends, raise early alerts, and suggest mitigations. Monitor risks, issues, and change control processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Share key activities and updates across relevant teams.
- Methodology & Collaboration: Ensure adherence to PMO tools and methodologies. Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration with other PMO professionals.
- At least 4 years of experience in project management methodologies and PMO processes (e.g., scheduling, budgeting, resource planning).
- Proven experience managing at least two large-scale programs or projects.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile and Scrum.
- Practical experience with project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com.
- Advantage: Background in software development, business analysis, or system integration (SI), preferably within software or hardware companies.
