Description

We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our Mobile team. You will be responsible for development and maintenance of the Fiverr Android application aimed at a range of Android devices. Join us and take part of a growing product with more than 50 million downloads!

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

Design, develop and maintain Fiverr application for the Android platform.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of Android development.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with Kotlin.
Proficient in writing readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented Java and Kotlin.
Experience with Android Jetpack: ViewModel, Data Binding, Live Data, ViewPager2 and more
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Tested, Provisioned, Compiled, and Deployed an application to Google Play Store.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Expertise in writing complex XML layouts.
Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Passionate for benchmarking and optimization.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
Proactive and out of the box thinking.
BSc. in CS or similar.
