Software Manager - Cloud & Web applications

• Be a highly technical, hands-on, and effective people manager across cloud and front-end disciplines.
• Mentor and support software engineers' growth and success, helping them to find and focus on their strengths.
• End-to-end responsibility on design, development and testing of cutting-edge cloud-based software design based on robust backend services and advanced user experience technologies.
• Team building - Lead and guide engineering culture to a high-performance team, ongoing collaboration with other teams, knowledge sharing, and an ongoing improvement spirit.
• Be part of technical discussions with stakeholders, translating business needs into product execution and delivery.
• Manage design and code review sessions, break down feature requirements into actionable tasks, and be responsible for the Jira software execution part…
• Owned the software architecture and the principles for maintainability and scalability.
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly changing environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
• Contribute to the overall maturity of existing product deployment and other software and testing automation processes.
• Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks to deliver successful solutions.

Requirements:

•Minimum 5+ years of experience as a software group/ team manager with a proven track record of managing software engineers in a cloud software environment.

•BA, BS / MS in Computer Science (or equivalent technical degree).

•10+ years’ experience in software development, backend technologies, Linux OS, Go, (Java, Python, Node.js), and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), SQL & No-SQL DBs. Full-stack scope.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a technical team in a cloud-based solution (AWS, Azure, GCP).

•Strong problem-solving skills with a background in cloud-based software development.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams.

•Excellent time management skills

•Experience with IoT cloud-based solutions – a plus.

•Familiarity with retail tech software – a plus.
