About the role:

Agora is seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Engineer ready to take on a dynamic Squad Lead position within our innovative start-up environment. This role is ideal for engineers who are looking to step into a leadership capacity or for those with some management experience seeking to further develop their leadership skills. You will focus on advancing real estate management software for our clients, who are general partners managing real estate investments.

As a Squad Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of your team, working collaboratively with product managers, developers, QA, and designers. You will drive the development of high-quality solutions that empower our clients and set new standards in the industry. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and Agile practices, ensuring your squad exceeds the ambitious challenges we aim to tackle at Agora.

What are we looking for:

• Lead and inspire a squad of full-stack engineers, supporting their technical and professional development.
• Play a key role in shaping and building a new team, contributing to the recruitment and integration process to form a cohesive and efficient squad.
• Drive the complete development lifecycle of innovative products that significantly contribute to Agora's strategic objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments to ensure seamless alignment with company goals.
• Continuously monitor and enhance team performance and productivity, ensuring the delivery of exceptional results.
• Mentor team members in their career development, providing guidance for both technical and personal growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a focus on web-oriented solutions.
• Proven expertise with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.
• Up to 2 years of experience leading software development teams is a plus.
• Strong technical background and hands-on experience in backend development; familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript is a significant advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for creating new products, with a strong understanding of client needs and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
• Fluent English speaker, both verbal and written, required for clear and effective communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent military certifications.
