Your Team, Your Impact

The Switching Frontend Methodologies and Tools team is responsible for front-end methodologies and tools used by the Design and DV teams throughout the pre-silicon development process. The team defines, develops, and maintains various tools; provides support for tool issues and user errors; manages UNIX environment configurations; and handles source control systems (Git/Gerrit). Additionally, the team is in charge of coding and maintaining the CI (Continuous Integration) infrastructure for pre-silicon hardware development.

What You Can Expect

• Work closely with team members to develop and support various tools and scripts maintained by the team.
• Develop tools and scripts in Python, Perl, and SystemVerilog.
• Contribute to both batch-mode and GUI-based tool development.
• Work with Git for source control and help integrate AI-based tools and workflows into the development process.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• CAD Engineering Intern—a 2nd-year student in electrical engineering or computer science.
• Familiarity with Python or Perl is a plus but not mandatory.
• A strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment is essential.
