Nodejs Developer

A young AI startup is developing a system that analyzes human-computer interaction using AI. The platform identifies repetitive patterns and actions commonly performed by users (such as those in Customer Support, Finance, or Operations), and then suggests automation for those tasks.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train line, and currently has 4 employees (2 founders and 2 developers). It operates a hybrid model with 1–2 work-from-home days per week.

Founded just a few months ago by Talpiot alumni, the startup has already secured a $7M seed round from leading VCs and has paying SMB clients in the U.S. market.

The Role Includes:

• Joining the founding engineering team (working alongside 2 existing developers)
• Full-Stack development with a Server-side focus (can be Backend-only)
• Writing code in Node.js and JavaScript
• Building infrastructure and product features in an AWS environment
• End-to-end development, including architecture and implementation
• High autonomy and ownership in shaping the product and system

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Node.js + JavaScript)
• Experience with at least one of the following languages: Python or Go
• Frontend experience is not required
• Previous experience as a Team Lead, Architect, Principal Engineer, or Senior Developer preferably in an Algo-trading or high-performance environment
• Academic degree from a top university or relevant military tech unit background (e.g. 8200, Talpiot, MAMRAM)
