Artificial Intelligence Engineer

A startup company in the AI domain is developing AI Agents designed to enhance software development processes, automate development tasks, and boost engineering productivity. The company is centrally located in Israel, within walking distance of a light rail station, and operates on a hybrid work model. Backed by leading investors and VCs, the company currently employs 15 people.

The Role Includes:

• Designing, developing, and deploying LLM-based AI Agents that understand code, tools, and development context.
• Enhancing developer productivity by automating complex development workflows.
• Researching long-term memory strategies, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and other prompting techniques to improve Agent behavior.
• Working with technologies such as Python, LLMs (OpenAI, Claude), GRPC, Redis, AWS, and Docker.
• Focusing on converting manual development tasks into autonomous LLM-driven Agents.
• Contributing to the team’s engineering efforts and the company’s broader technological vision.
• Reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating within a small, high-impact team.
• Engaging with areas like autonomous agents, agent architectures, reasoning, transformers, LLM APIs, fine-tuning, vector databases, compilers, and production infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or AI Engineer
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs
• Strong software development background, preferably Full-Stack
• B.Sc. degree from a recognized university
