Corporate Controller

Cytactic is a fast growing cyber security start up, developing and selling the Cyber Security Crisis Management and Readiness SAAS Platform, which enables crisis managers to prepare, plan and directly impact the business outcome of a future attack.

As Corporate Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of our accounting, financial reporting, and internal control environments. You will join the effort of building and refining the financial processes, policies, and systems required to support a rapidly growing technology company.

This role requires hands-on execution, a commitment and uncompromising attention to detail and professional standards.

Your Main Responsibilities will be:

Accounting & Reporting

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee compliance with local and international statutory requirements.
• Own the annual budget process, including BVA analysis, regular forecasting updates and sensitivity modeling.
• Manage the company’s cash position, including working capital, burn rate, foreign currencies management and liquidity planning.
• Contribute to board and investor reporting by preparing financial analyses.
• Manage audit processes, including coordination with external auditors (Big4) and preparation of audit deliverables.

Processes & Systems

• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, specifically in managing cash flow and resources.
• Develop and enforce financial governance across departments, ensuring discipline and consistency in financial operations.
• Think tech and support automation and efficiency initiatives across the finance functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Build and manage a small internal and external accounting and finance operations team.
• Collaborate closely with sales, and operations.
• Drive the company’s infrastructure readiness for the future, including potential fundraising, international expansion, and financial due diligence.
• Initiate and contribute to special projects, such as investor reporting, M&A readiness, or international related setup.

Qualifications

• CPA; Big 4 background - Mandatory.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in finance roles is a start up environment, preferably experience as a Controller in a rapidly growing VC backed SaaS company - Mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and consolidation - Mandatory.
• Experience with global structure, preferably including both U.S. and Israeli operations.
• Proven ability to build or scale accounting infrastructure in a high-growth environments.
• Tech Savvy approach, Excel proficiency - Mandatory.
• High proficiency in English.
• Experience in the legal aspects of commercial, corporate and employment items – Advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mindset, and professional integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on and collaborative approach.
