Deputy Compliance Officer / Compliance Operations Lead

About the Role:

We're looking for a sharp, driven regulatory or operational compliance professional to join our leadership track. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position for someone ready to take operational ownership of the compliance function at a fast-growing fintech company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the execution and continuous improvement of operational compliance processes (KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, STR/SAR filing, onboarding, etc.).

· Manage day-to-day activities of the compliance team, ensuring performance, quality, and timeliness.

· Act as the key liaison between Compliance and Product, Sales, and Operations teams to integrate compliance seamlessly into our products and workflows.

· Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes and propose practical solutions.

· Build and manage compliance dashboards, internal SOPs, and training materials.

· Coordinate internal audits, regulatory examinations, and reporting obligations.

Qualifications:

· Relevant academic degree (a law degree – an advantage but not mandatory)

· For non-law degree: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in financial compliance, AML, or regulatory operations (with legal background – actual compliance experience not mandatory)

· Background in fintech, payments, money transfer, or banking compliance is a strong plus.

· Strong operational thinking and process improvement mindset.

· Exceptional analytical and written communication skills.

· Hands-on and independent, yet a team player with a leadership spark.

· Fluent in Hebrew, High level English.
