We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure and Network Senior Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex network infrastructures across both multi-cloud and private cloud environments. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of network architecture and performance, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Success in this fast-paced environment requires strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and precise execution.

What You'll Do

• Network Architecture & Operations: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure across hybrid (cloud and on-premise) environments.
• Infrastructure Ownership: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of infrastructure systems, with an emphasis on network reliability, performance, and resilience.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Automate network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting languages.
• Support & Enablement: Provide expert guidance to development and operations teams on network infrastructure and IaC best practices.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network health and performance, and resolve complex connectivity or infrastructure issues.
• On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation supporting Payoneer’s production systems, including occasional weekends and holidays.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and stable network operations.
  
  

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing production workloads in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a strong focus on networking.
• Minimum 7 years in roles such as Network Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or NetOps.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, peering, security groups, etc.).
• Familiarity with SDN, hybrid connectivity, and network security best practices.
• Proficiency in Terraform and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh networking.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience working in high-availability, high-volume, or mission-critical production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent practical experience.
  
  

• Experience with CI/CD and source control tools (e.g., Git, TFVC, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Artifactory, ProGet).
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware).
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Experience with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with enterprise storage systems and infrastructure.
• Background in administering large-scale Windows and Linux environments.
