Data Engineer for Digital Data & Channels Division at a Leading Organization 5235

An excellent opportunity to enter the field of Data Science and work within the AI & Big Data team!

This team is responsible for developing advanced analytics and generating insights from data, building Machine Learning and NLP models, extracting text from documents, and developing Big Data processes in a Hadoop environment using Spark and Kafka. The work includes handling data formats such as JSON and Parquet, utilizing graph databases, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professional leadership of the team, including code reviews
• Acting as Scrum Master – managing and planning tasks for team members
• Working closely with Data Scientists to develop pipelines for Machine Learning models in the healthcare domain
• Data modeling and application design in Big Data environments
• Developing real-time data processes
• Performing basic data analysis

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science – mandatory
• 4+ years of experience in development using Python and SQL – mandatory
• 2+ years of experience working with HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka – mandatory
• Experience with non-relational databases such as Elastic and Neo4j
• Experience in designing and developing ETL processes – an advantage
