About this opportunity

We are looking for a QA student in the late stages of their Bachelor's degree program to support our Green Directive project for a temporary position.

The Green Directive project aims to verify that all products and materials supplied to us meet the necessary regulatory requirements (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and California Proposition 65) to ensure our company's products comply with global regulations and safety standards. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on compliance certifications submitted by our suppliers. Additionally, they will Approach suppliers to obtain compliance documentation. ow up on the progress of compliance completion and release the approved certifications in Algin's system.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will…

• Review and interpret compliance documentation submitted by suppliers.
• Approach suppliers getting compliance documentation
• Provide clear and concise feedback on compliance certifications.
• Track and follow up with suppliers to monitor the progress of compliance completion.
• Upload approved certifications into Algin's system.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers in English.
• Maintain high standards of compliance and safety.
  
  

• 3rd/ 4th year a Bachelor's degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• Master's degree studies are an advantage.
• Orientation to Quality assurance, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret compliance documentation.
• Able to communicate with suppliers and create follow up structure until requirements closure.
• Knowledge of RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and California Proposition 65 standards - advantage.
• Learn and adapt to new regulations and the PLM system quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
