Linux System Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Linux System Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Linux System Engineer to join a high-performance infrastructure team in a fast-paced, data-driven tech environment.

In this role, you'll take part in designing and managing cutting-edge compute, storage, on prem and cloud environments that support mission-critical trading systems at scale. You’ll work closely with experts in research, development and operations to ensure availability, security, performance, and automation across complex global systems.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain Linux-based compute and storage environments (on-prem & cloud)
• Design petabyte-scale storage and distributed systems
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management (Debian packaging, scripts)
• Troubleshoot performance and low-level OS/network issues
• Drive innovation through tooling, monitoring, and high availability architecture

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator – must
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Experience with storage systems, distributed file systems, and virtualization
• Understanding of networking protocols and cloud solutions (AWS – a plus)
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Ganglia) – advantage
• Passion for performance, reliability, and scalable infrastructure
