Head of Mainframe Infrastructure Department

We are looking for a seasoned and highly motivated Head of Mainframe Infrastructure Department to lead our mainframe infrastructure operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing core systems, driving technological excellence, and leading a skilled team in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Mainframe (MF) infrastructure department, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of core systems.
• Manage and lead a team of professionals, including mentoring, professional development, and performance management.
• Develop strategic plans for infrastructure evolution and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to support operational goals and compliance standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and system resilience.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience managing Mainframe infrastructure and systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role, leading technical teams.
• Proven experience in technology infrastructure within a financial organization – a significant advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a complex and highly regulated environment.
