National Trade Marketing Manager

A leading consumer goods company based in Central Israel is seeking a National Trade Manager to join its executive team.

Role Overview:

The National Trade Manager will oversee the company’s nationwide trade operations, manage the trade team, and lead strategic commercial initiatives. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, managing budgets and trade agreements, and spearheading negotiations for long-term partnerships with major retail chains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of trade managers.
• Oversee the company's entire trade activity and drive commercial growth.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual trade budgets and commercial agreements.
• Lead high-level negotiations and establish long-term business partnerships.
• Initiate and implement strategic collaborations to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
• Translate marketing strategies into actionable trade plans.
• Develop and execute annual business plans with existing trade clients.
• Expand the client base by onboarding new strategic accounts.
• Introduce and diversify product offerings tailored to trade partners.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree – Mandatory
• Proven experience in commercial roles working with major retail clients – Mandatory
• Commercial experience with pharmacy chains (e.g., Super-Pharm) – Mandatory
• Managerial experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams toward achieving targets
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
• In-depth knowledge of the food retail sector – Mandatory
• Excellent analytical skills – Mandatory
• Advanced proficiency in Excel – Mandatory
• Full command of Microsoft Office suite
