Our Security Platform is a tailor-made solution that provides comprehensive and contextual protection for energy assets, data, and operations (such as EV charging, BESS, DERs, microgrids etc.).

The R&D team is at the forefront of developing the web platform, integrating external products, designing advanced sensors for detection and risk assessment, and conducting research and data analysis on energy network behavior.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to lead our growing engineering team in Tel Aviv. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a startup environment, with strong software engineering skills and a deep understanding of modern AI technologies. As the Software Engineering Team Lead, you will guide the development of our security platform—spanning data ingestion, detection engines, and energy-communication analytics—while shaping the team’s growth and engineering culture. Our current stack includes: Node.js, React, Java, Python, Go, NestJS, AWS Lambda, Flink, and Spark, all running on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the architecture and implementation of scalable systems for detection, data ingestion, and real-time analytics.
• Drive adoption of advanced AI techniques, including machine learning and large language models (LLMs), into the product.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists focused on energy network cybersecurity.
• Foster a strong engineering culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product and research teams to ensure effective delivery.
• Own the team’s delivery velocity and operational excellence, including CI/CD and production health.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or management role.
• Proven experience embedding large language models (LLMs) and AI technologies into production systems.
• Strong background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect scalable solutions for complex cybersecurity challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach.
• Experience with AI-driven agentic systems and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms that support agent-based models and decision-making.
