Hardware Development Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Development Engineer to join the electro-optical systems team.

The position includes:

• Design and development of digital circuit boards, including integration into electro-optical systems.
• Writing specifications and defining requirements in collaboration with system engineering for hardware, firmware, and software infrastructure.
• Participation in system-level design, including selection of COTS boards, wiring design, integration, and testing.
• Ability to quickly learn and analyze complex topics with a broad system-level perspective.

What we are looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• Experience in designing digital circuits including Ethernet, CPU & FPGA – Mandatory
• Proven experience leading a board from development through to serial production – Mandatory
• At least 1 year of proven experience as a Board Designer – Advantage
• Knowledge or experience in electro-optical systems – Advantage
• Experience writing specifications and defining board requirements – Advantage
• Experience working with and managing subcontractors – Advantage
