Data Engineer (Office/Remote)

Limay Media is a fast-growing company focused on delivering innovative data-driven solutions. We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to help us build and maintain the data infrastructure powering our analytics and admin tools. If you enjoy solving complex data problems and working across the full stack—from ETL pipelines to admin dashboards—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust multi-stage ETL pipelines in Python.
• Build and manage data models and reporting tables using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation and aggregation.
• Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and ensure data quality and performance.
• Set up and maintain local development environments using Docker Compose.
• Schedule and manage recurring tasks using cron in a Linux environment.
• Use Prisma and Django ORMs to manage schema and database migrations.
• Develop and maintain internal admin dashboards and data visualization tools with Next.js and TypeScript.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL.
• Proficiency in Python, including FastAPI for building APIs.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Experience working with Docker Compose in a development and deployment context.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse or similar analytical databases.
• Practical experience with Prisma ORM (Python and TypeScript).
• Experience building user interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Experience managing scheduled jobs with cron.
