Electronics Practical Engineer

Silicom is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Practical Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Kfar Saba. This part-time role involves working closely with hardware development teams to define and manage electronic components, optimize product costs, and support the full lifecycle of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic components and schematics and be comfortable working with engineering tools and documentation systems.

Job Description

• Defining electronic components
• Defining Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Finding alternative components and reducing costs
• Managing product lifecycle

Job Requirements

• Practical Electronics Engineer certification
• Familiarity with electronic components – characteristics and properties (required)
• Understanding of electronic and mechanical schematics
• Proficiency in English (required)
• Ability to learn independently (advantage)
• Familiarity with printed circuit boards (PCBs) (advantage)
• Experience with tools such as Orcad, Allegro PCB, AGILE Oracle PLM (advantage)
