Chief Electrical Engineer

We're looking for a Chief Electrical Engineer for our Tnufa Division at our Company Headquarters

The position includes:

• Overall professional responsibility for the electrical infrastructure of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), leading multi-year development of power sources and supply networks within the company to meet needs at all levels.
• Overseeing the design and supervising the execution of electrical components in construction projects.
• Managing energy at the company level, driving energy efficiency and cost reduction. This includes surveys, performance monitoring, and reporting to management and the Ministry of Energy.
• Initiating, characterizing, and implementing digital systems for managing electrical and energy infrastructures.
• Providing professional guidance to operations and maintenance personnel in plants, with the goal of improving reliability and quality of supply.
• Developing knowledge and efficient solutions – staying updated on industry developments, leading investigations and lessons learned, guiding planning and execution processes, specifications, equipment standards, and framework agreements.
• Professional representation vis-à-vis official bodies and authorities, such as Israel Electric Corporation (IEC), Electricity Authority, Ministry of Energy, etc.

What We're Looking For:

• Electrical Engineer with a "Licensed Electrical Engineer" (חשמלאי-מהנדס) license for at least 12 years – Must.
• "Type 3 Inspector Electrician" (חשמלאי בודק סוג 3) license for at least 3 years – Must.
• At least 10 years of experience as a responsible engineer in projects, covering design, energy management, operation, and maintenance of a large electrical infrastructure – Must.
• Professional proficiency in the components of a private electrical infrastructure, relevant standards, and technologies, including: High voltage systems, protections, low voltage panels, PV and storage systems, generators and synchronization systems, UPS, frequency converters, lighting systems, building control, energy saving systems, energy management information systems.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / Systems / Management – Advantage.
• Experience in the establishment, operation, and maintenance of extra-high voltage facilities – Advantage.
