Bezeq, Israel's leading telecommunications provider, is looking for a talented Systems Engineer and Software Developer to join our core VOICE network team. If you're passionate about telephony, open-source technologies, and building reliable, large-scale systems—this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain core systems VOICE network

Lead end-to-end development of engineering services – from requirements gathering, system design, and coding to testing and deployment

Manage and integrate new software releases

Deliver creative solutions for unique technical challenges

Execute system integrations and lead telephony-related projects

Stay ahead with continuous learning of cutting-edge telecom and networking technologies

Collaborate closely with internal and external interfaces across the company

Requirements:

Strong understanding of SIP protocol – a Must

Experience with open-source telephony platforms (Asterisk, Kamailio) – a Must

3+ years of hands-on development using JavaScript, HTML, Python, PHP – a Must

Proficiency in Linux and writing BASH scripts – a Must

Experience with system testing – both automated and manual

Ability to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions

Strong skills in systems analysis and familiarity with MySQL databases - Must

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering – advantage

High performance under pressure, multitasking, and meeting deadlines

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated and quick learner
