Researcher Biostatistician

Clalit Innovation is leading the digital health transformation in Israel's largest healthcare organization, dedicated to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge research and collaboration.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Researcher/Biostatistician to join our dynamic Real-World Evidence (RWE) team. This role will focus on leveraging epidemiological principles and rigorous methodologies to generate robust RWE research.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and refinement of methodologies for conducting RWE studies.
• Oversee the management, cleaning, and analysis of large and complex real-world database using statistical software.
• Apply advanced epidemiological and statistical techniques, including casual inference methods.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, data scientists, AI developers to define research questions, interpret results, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Prepare high-quality scientific reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications to disseminate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A graduate degree (Master's or higher) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Mathematics or a related filed with a strong emphasis on quantitative research methods.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages (Python, R)
• Experience working with large healthcare databases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of healthcare systems, data sources, and regulatory landscapes.
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal).
