A cutting-edge company in the field of image sensors, pioneering SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) technology based on breakthrough research in nanophotonics. Its unique approach is redefining the vision sensor market, especially in the automotive sector, along with other innovative applications.
The company has 90 employees, with offices in central Tel Aviv near a train line. The position offers a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages a team of 3 VLSI engineers focused on advanced image sensor design and verification.
- Defines project objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with company strategy.
- Oversees ASIC and FPGA design and verification processes, including full system-level integration.
- Collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams including analog design, firmware, and software.
- Analyzes and optimizes signal processing algorithms for implementation in VLSI and FPGA to improve sensor performance.
- Ensures high technical standards and efficient project execution throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements-
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in VLSI or ASIC design.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Familiarity with simulation tools, verification environments, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in HDL coding (e.g., Verilog/SystemVerilog).
- Hands-on experience with FPGA-based development environments.
- Strong advantage: background in image sensor technologies.
