Join a team dedicated to developing a fully automated, end-to-end AI software pipeline that creates and manages predictive models for recommended searches, apps, and data pipelines. The team is responsible for building data science tools, adhering to security policies, designing robust code infrastructure, and delivering complex solutions to deploy data science models in production seamlessly.

We are looking for a highly capable backend engineer for our machine learning team to optimize our machine learning systems, creating end 2 end ml pipelines and tools available for the data science squad to use, running automatic evaluations and improving our code infrastructure.

What You'll do:

Design, create solutions for machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models.
Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimizing existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
Running tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting test results.
Document and maintain machine learning processes.

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a backend engineer and/or in data science roles.
Proven experience in deploying data science models to production.
Strong knowledge of machine learning engineering principles.
Advanced proficiency in Python, including microservices development.
Expertise in LLM Prompt Engineering.
Proficiency in LLMOps and MLOps practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Innovative and solution-driven mindset, with the ability to tackle undefined research problems.

Advantages:

Experience with Spark/PySpark and Airflow pipelines.
Familiarity with Graph Databases and Vector Databases.
Knowledge of building and working with agentic systems.
Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (Flask or FastApi)
Experience using GCP and/or AWS
Experience using GCP dataproc, Spark, GAE, GKE
Proficiency in Ray for distributed computing.
Familiarity with tools like Weights & Biases or similar platforms.
