Senior Network Operations Engineer – Data Center & Backbone

📍 Location: Yokneam, Israel (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

We’re hiring a hands-on and experienced Network Operations Engineer to take full ownership of Data Center and Backbone network operations.

What You’ll Do

Operate and maintain backbone and data center (wired/wireless) network infrastructure in Israel

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize highly available environments

Act as an escalation point for complex and critical network incidents

Collaborate with architecture, deployment, and tooling teams

Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve scalability

Drive postmortem reviews and contribute to long-term network resiliency

What We’re Looking For:

8+ years in network operations or site reliability engineering

Expertise in EVPN, BGP, VXLAN – or strong background in network automation

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching

Familiarity with wireless standards: 802.11ac/ax, WPA, 802.1X, Radius, EAP

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Netbox/Nautobot

Skilled in ServiceNow and Jira

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with global teams
