Hey everyone! My development department is growing, and I'm thrilled to be looking for a Senior Pattern Maker specializing in tactical apparel to join my team.
This role is perfect for a highly skilled individual who can blend precision with creativity to transform innovative ideas into top-tier finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop precise patterns for tactical apparel and perform size grading.
- Sew high-quality initial prototypes and manage all corrections/modifications.
- Collaborate closely with design and production for seamless transitions.
- Ensure optimal compatibility between apparel and existing company gear.
- Conduct quality control on all patterns and prototypes, maintaining meticulous documentation.
- 10+ years in pattern making, specifically with tactical, workwear, or high-performance apparel.
- Expertise in flat pattern drafting, draping, and garment construction.
- Proficiency in computerized pattern-making software (e.g., Optitex, Gerber, Lectra) and 3D technologies (Clo3D, Browzwear).
- Proven ability to sew prototypes.
- Deep understanding of body mechanics, sizing, and comfort for tactical garments.
- Extensive knowledge of tactical fabrics, materials, and components.
- Exceptional precision, thoroughness, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
