Automation Engineer

A Cybersecurity company developing cloud-based systems that enable secure and fast enterprise communication. The company’s mission is to reduce IT complexity by consolidating communication and security capabilities into a single cloud-native platform, enhancing security processes while lowering operational costs.

This is a comprehensive enterprise communication solution that bridges the gap between the demands of digital businesses and the expensive, slow, and rigid networks of traditional telecom providers, leveraging a Cloud-Native Carrier architecture.

The company employs around 900 people worldwide, with approximately half based in Israel. Offices are located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of the train station, operating in a hybrid work model with two remote days per week.

The role includes:

• Technical leadership of the Automation team
• Broad technological ownership, including code standardization and test lab infrastructure
• Responsibility for scaling automated test environments and establishing best practices
• Technical ownership across architecture, mentorship, and hands-on development
• Writing test automation primarily alongside backend development, in Java (conversion from Python is also possible)
• Performing comprehensive E2E testing, including Linux environments, API testing, and component-level validation

Requirements

High technical skills and ability to utilize software testing methodologies, processes, and tools

Leadership capabilities – experience in leading teams or managing complex projects.

5+ years of experience implementing automated tests for multi-layered products

Hands-on coding in java or other OO programming language

Experience working with cloud IaaS such as AWS, and SaaS in general

Experience with Win Operating system – Must
