yad2 is looking for a sharp, creative, and strategic Director of Brand to lead one of Israel’s most recognized and impactful consumer brands, at a pivotal moment of growth, reinvention, and AI-driven innovation.
This is a foundational role, our first dedicated Director of Brand, offering the unique opportunity to build the brand function from the ground up, shape how brand is expressed and operated across the company, and lead creative transformation across multiple verticals.
This is a key leadership role that blends brand strategy with a strong orientation toward creativity. You’ll own and shape yad2’s brand narrative across four major verticals: Real Estate, Auto, Second Hand, and Jobs, crafting a unified story that works both at scale and in detail.
What you will be doing:
- Define and lead the full brand strategy, including positioning, values, tone of voice, and visual identity
- Build a cohesive brand story that connects across all verticals while supporting each one’s specific marketing needs
- Lead large-scale, cross-company brand campaigns, as well as tailored creative work for each vertical
- Own all branded communications, including PR, social media, storytelling, and digital content
- Build and manage a modern in-house creative infrastructure combining top talent, freelancers, automation, and AI
- Oversee key creative functions: Studio, Creative, Advertising, and Production
- Develop modular, measurable creative workflows that support business and marketing objectives
- Collaborate closely with vertical marketing leads, product, data, and tech teams to bring the brand to life across the organization
Your skills and experience:
- At least 6 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience leading major consumer brands, from strategy through execution
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team, inspiring collaboration and high performance to achieve brand and business goals
- Background in Tech, Consumer Tech, or Online Marketplace companies
- Strategic mindset with strong creative instincts and a data-driven approach
- Experience managing sub-brands under a masterbrand is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with AI-based tools for content, design, video, and language
- Experience building or running in-house creative teams and managing freelancers is a big plus
- Confident in identifying what doesn’t work, and speaking up with clarity
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with leadership presence and a bias for action
- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead communication and operations in international environments
