RF Algorithm Engineer

We are looking for an experienced RF Algorithm Engineer to join a leading defense company in central Israel. The position involves the development of advanced radio communication algorithms for aerial, spaceborne, and ground-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop signal processing and communication algorithms, including phase estimation, frequency offset correction, timing synchronization, and error correction, for airborne, space, and ground-based platforms.
• Convert MATLAB-based algorithm designs into RTL-level implementations for programmable logic devices (FPGAs) and internal modules.
• Integrate with SDR (Software Defined Radio) components, power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), and ground stations to deliver end-to-end communication systems.
• Perform lab testing and system verification; write design and validation documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; define technical specifications, support system integration, and define hardware-software interfaces.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in developing communication algorithms
• Strong knowledge of modulation techniques and communication protocols
• Proven ability to work with business partners, clients, vendors, and service providers, both internally and externally
• High-level proficiency in English (written and verbal)
