Cybersecurity & Integration Engineer – Technological Projects

A leading company specializing in the development and implementation of advanced multidisciplinary systems and naval defense solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity & Integration Engineer for a unique role that combines design, hardening, and hands-on implementation of technological systems in complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harden operating systems (Windows / Linux) according to CIS Benchmarks and other industry best practices
• Monitor and analyze security events using tools such as SIEM, EDR, Sysmon, etc.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to cybersecurity
• Participate in system architecture and design to ensure security is embedded from the initial stages
• Support all phases of development and integration with a continuous focus on security
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, development, and project teams to ensure alignment between security and engineering

Mandatory Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity – required
• Proven experience in system hardening – required
• Familiarity with key standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001 – required
• Experience working with tools such as SIEM, EDR, Sysmon – required
• Strong technical writing skills – required
• Background in multidisciplinary technological projects – required
• Independent, proactive, and strong team collaboration skills
• Strong advantage: Experience with defense-related systems or environments

Important Notes for Candidates:

• Academic degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience only
• NOTE - Not suitable for candidates whose experience is solely in traditional cybersecurity or Cloud-only environments
• This is a very hands-on role, embedded in the core of system development and integration
