Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and own the full SEO strategy: technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and off-page SEO.
- Perform in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP tracking using tools like SEMrush, SimilarWeb, and Google Search Console.
- Create and execute a comprehensive link-building strategy.
- Collaborate with the editorial and product teams to drive SEO-focused content creation.
- Recommend and implement changes to website architecture, content, linking, and metadata for SEO success.
Technical SEO
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits (Screaming Frog, Search Console, etc.).
- Handle 301 redirects, canonical tag implementation, and URL structure optimization.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to:
- XML sitemaps
- Robots.txt
- Error pages (404, 410, 503, soft 404s)
- Mobile-first rendering and React HTML rendering
- JavaScript-rendered components
- Meta robots rules (noindex, nofollow)
- Schema markup implementation
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and optimize site performance (lazy loading, image compression, server response time, etc.).
Content Optimization
- Ensure high-quality, optimized content across all pages, including product/in-stock pages.
- Optimize metadata (title tags, meta descriptions, H tags) and ensure no thin or duplicate content.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, crawl stats, and more.
- Use Google Analytics, GTM, and Search Console to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
- Provide regular SEO and SEM performance forecasts and detailed reports (e.g., keyword performance, traffic trends, index status).
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical, on-page, and content SEO - Must
- Proven success in driving organic traffic growth.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-traffic environments.
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO: site structure, canonical tags, redirects, schema markup, robots.txt, crawl errors, mobile-first, and Core Web Vitals - Must
- Experience with JavaScript/React rendering, page speed optimization, and SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Search Console, and Pagespeed Insights.
- Skilled in keyword research, content optimization, and identifying thin/duplicate content - Must
- Proficient with Google Analytics, GTM, Search Console, SEMrush, and SimilarWeb.
- Able to turn data into actionable SEO insights and reports.
