Senior Automation Engineer

You will create and implement strategy for quality coordination and automation testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.

You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance testing strategies for our cybersecurity solutions to ensure optimal performance and scalability. You will collaborate with development teams to identify performance requirements for new features and releases, and work with them to ensure that performance issues are addressed before they impact our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong technical automation background, experience with performance testing tools and methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Major Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks using Python and Pytest for infrastructure components.
• Drive the implementation of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to enhance test clarity and collaboration.
• Architect, design, and execute large-scale automated test suites for infrastructure systems deployed on AWS.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine automation strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Scale and optimize test automation infrastructure to support extensive production testing efficiently.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve test results using Grafana to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Provide in-depth test reports using Allure, delivering actionable insights into test coverage, results, and trends.
• Troubleshoot complex issues discovered during testing and collaborate with development teams to drive quick resolutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and infrastructure testing.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation strategy enhancements, and best practice adoption across teams.

Desired Background

• 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on infrastructure testing.
• Expertise in Python programming and hands-on experience with Pytest for automation.
• Deep understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and proficiency with tools such as Cucumber or Behave.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Proven experience designing and executing large-scale automated test suites in high-performance production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization of system metrics.
• Proficiency in using Allure for test reporting, analysis, and insights.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
• Leadership experience mentoring junior engineers and guiding automation best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins or GitHub actions.
• Capabilities to lead POC and make them adopted in the team
